SMETHODS - SMEs Training and Hands-on Practice in Optical Design and Simulation
SMETHODS is a FP7 funded support action which organises trainings in optical design. The participation in the training sessions is free for everybody – although priority is given to employees of small and medium sized European enterprises (SMEs).
This recently started programme aims to strengthen Europe's optics and photonics industry by providing trainings and hands-on practice in optical design and simulation. SMETHODS is an initiative of seven European academic institutions that are leading the field of optical design: Delft University of Technology, Institut d’Optique, Friedrich-Schiller University Jena, University of Eastern Finland, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics - ITMO, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
The first four courses will focus on the following topics:
- Training session domain 1: Imaging Optics
8-12 April 2013 in Delft, Netherlands
